Today’s post is an audio post or podcast. This is an example of what we can do now in our community. Give the episode a listen and read the note below. You can subscribe, share, leave a comment, or give a gift subscription.
Also, remember to download the Substack app to get the full experience of the workshop community.
When I was thinking about what image to include in this post, the natural thought was to include a quick pick depicting writing or paper or “creativity.” But I don’t like using shots like that—well, except for our main image for The Writer’s Workshop. That one needs to be explicitly inspiring.
This image, however, represents what we do here: endlessness. Waves never stop crashing onto the shore. They cannot be stopped by humans. The ocean never sleeps.
And that’s how I view the creative act of writing and this community. I want our time together to be inspired by this feeling of endlessness—of creativity that never stops, that keeps crashing on the shores of our minds that keeps at it even when no one is watching. I want us to be pushed to see the world afresh each moment of every day.
Today’s post is a general announcement and is free to all. Please share it with family and friends who might be interested in our workshop.
I recorded my unrehearsed thoughts describing the heart behind the workshop, a break down of the subscription options, and more detail on how the workshop will work. Have a listen. If you have a question, please leave it in the comments so everyone can benefit from it.
Maybe you like the idea of this new community aspect and want to invite a friend or surprise them with a gift subscription. The wonderful thing about Substack is that you can do that with ease. Just click the button below to give the gift of The Writer’s Workshop.
Finally, here are the details for the next workshop. Remember, the early bird registration discount is now the permanent price. But don’t wait to sign up. Show your enthusiasm by signing up and posting a comment, encouraging others to join, and beginning to add your thoughts and inspiration to the community.
